Worship Information
The Mission of the Worship Ministry Team (WMT) at House of Prayer is to create a God-focused worship environment by:
- Stimulating all senses
- Developing and establishing alternative worship opportunities
- Collaborating with other teams, staff and clergy
- Promoting and educating lay worship leaders
- Establishing a sense of ownership among all members of the congregation
- Planning seasonal worship concepts
There are many components involved in living out this mission at House of Prayer, all coordinated by the Worship Ministry Team, and there are many ways for you to get involved with worship! If you would like to assist with worship by reading scripture, serving communion, acolyting, cantoring, or ushering, contact WMT Chair Linda Lund or Co-Chair Gretchen Swenson.
