Synod Opportunity!

Seminary of the Streets

Do you have a missional curiosity of what God is doing in the Minneapolis Area Synod? Are you trying to figure out what God is calling you to do?

We have just the solution: Seminary of the streets.

This is a joint venture between synod leaders, Faith in the City, and the people in the pews to create awareness, and provide a series of educational, service and relational opportunities for you-members of Minneapolis Area Synod congregations.

The Seminary of the Streets will be "college-like" with learning in the classroom, a curriculum, homework and service opportunities. Attending the sessions will help you discover what your gifts are. The faculty will be leaders in our synod, and the classrooms will be in the congregations where we worship.
These sessions will tie biblical orientation with the realities of the streets of the Minneapolis Area Synod.
Year 1: Education for people wanting to know their people--who are the people of our community?
Year 2: Courageous discipleship--what am I going to do to act out my call? Year 3: Building a just world through servant leadership and active relationships.
