God’s Work…Our Hands
The VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People) 2011 totals are in. House of Prayer donated 846 pounds of food/products and $2,880. We also participated in MN FoodShare, Build a Bag, Holiday Benefit, Back to School, Christmas and Birthday Bags programs.
There are new faces of hunger in the United States. They are our children. This is an epidemic that no one wants to talk about. It is real and it is happening to friends and neighbors in Minnesota.
Our community is a better place for having been blessed by your generosity. Thank you. It is truly appreciated.
