Capital Campaign Will Support HoP’s Plan for Growth and Renewal
Our upcoming capital campaign,15 for ’15, refers to fifteen significant projects that we need to tackle in 2015. View more information on the projects here. These much-needed projects will repair and refresh our facility, and are vitally important to House of Prayer’s plan for renewal and growth, which focuses on Evangelism, Youth & Family, Worship, and Discipleship.
We thank God for this opportunity to return a portion of His many gifts so that we may grow, renew our sense of purpose in this community, and be a blessing to many for years to come. If you have any immediate questions, please contact Pastor Sandin, Wayne Swenson, Scott Wright, or Peter Dorow.

Lent 2015 at House of Prayer
Lenten Sermon Series:
Every Sunday, starting February 22, we will focus on the spiritual discipleship of: prayer, reading scripture, serving, generous financial giving, spiritual friendships, and worships.
Challenge yourself to spend more time working on each Mark of Discipleship by following daily and weekly devotions and bible readings written and compiled by Pastor Ben. There will be a nominal cost to cover the book that you will receive.
Wednesday Night Lenten Activities:
Wednesday evening study in Lent at 6:30 pm. will focus on the Marks of Discipleship, followed by Holden Evening Prayer at 7:30 pm.
Holy Fire: Kindling the Fire Within:
Do you want to grow in faith but don’t know where to begin? Did getting confirmed represent the pinnacle of faith but leave you with questions or wanting more? Are you seeking to understand God’s purpose for your life? If so Holy Fire is for you!
Holy Fire is a course that will meet on six consecutive Sunday evenings in Lent from 5:30-7pm beginning February 22 through March 29. This course digs into the basics of the Christian faith and creates the space for honest discussion and sharing about what it all means and how it can be applied to our life today. Together we will engage in discussion about the nature of God, what it means to live as a person of faith, how scripture and prayer encourage spiritual development, and putting faith into action. We will conclude Holy Fire by giving participants the opportunity to affirm their baptism, publicly commit themselves to a living faith, and share their story.
