Save the Date – October 26

Dave Malmberg and Friends

Dave Malmberg and Friends

October 26 will be an exciting day at House of Prayer. Not only is it Reformation Sunday and our 61th anniversary, it is Confirmation Sunday and Youth and Family Day. We will celebrate with a light lunch at 11:15 for all, followed by a repeat performance by ventriloquist Dave Malmberg.

Loaves and Fishes Crew

A dedicated crew from House of Prayer prepared and served supper at Loaves and Fishes on June 3. Click here to see more photos of the workers having fun helping others.

Blankets for Love

HoP women met frequently this summer to tie fleece blankets for Rising Cedar, a facility built to provide housing for 40 residents with serious and persistent mental illness. Our Prayer Shawl Ministry sponsored this outreach project to create a fleece blanket for each resident. The blankets were blessed and taken to Rising Cedar on July 13.
